George Pertessis

Assistant Coach

Coach Pertessis is returning for his 3rd season at a Lancer Assistant. A 2014 graduate of TOHS. My goal is to bring some of my knowledge of the game of lacrosse to high schoolers. I have a lot of knowledge you can only obtain by playing years of lacrosse because there is so much unpredictability involved with this game. I hope to improve the critical thinking of our players both on and off the field by challenging them with game-like scenarios in practice. Practicing what they will encounter in a game will undoubtedly make them better players because lacrosse is all about reacting to what your opponent does. Education:

Currently working for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office-Van Nuys Criminal Branch, coach plans to continue his education at the Ventura College of Law in 2021. A 2018 Graduate of San Jose State University he played for years for the SJSU Lacrosse Team. Highlighting his time there, coach was a 3 time team captain and received All-American Honors during his senior campaign. George was also a 4 year Varsity Letter winner at TOHS in Lacrosse. Previous couching experience includes both the TO Knights Lax & Titans Youth programs for two years while in HS. Coach currently stays active playing for the Beverly Hills Bucks a men's league team.
